Home Of The Cheese Heads!

Hi everyone!

I have finally made it to the beautiful state of Wisconsin and I love it here!

It was so hard to say goodbye to the MTC and my amazing district but I was so excited to get here and start the work!

Our adventure started at 3 in the morning when we left the MTC. A train, a bus, and two shuttles later, we finally made it to the airport. At one point we all somehow fit on a bus with about 80 pieces of luggage. We then flew to Phoenix and then Milwaukee! We got to meet our mission president and his wife who are the sweetest people ever! We then stayed the night in I think they told us the biggest Marriott in the states.

The next day we finally got to meet who our trainer was going to be for the next 3 months and where we would go! My trainer's name is Sister Skousen and she is the best! She is so sweet! We are serving in the Green Bay area!! We are living in a cute little apartment with two other Sisters. It is tight but it's been fun! One of the sisters was actually in my district in the MTC!

Everyone in this mission keeps calling it a mission of miracles and I am starting to think it is! We have had many of our teaching appointments get canceled but God has provided many other opportunities for us! My first day we had a teaching appointment that was canceled but we had the opportunity to drop a Book of Mormon off to someone in a rehab facility. Seeing how much hope it brought to this person helped remind me why I am doing this. I also got the opportunity to help continue teaching a lady who has a baptism date! She is working on reading the Book of Mormon and is learning how to read. The Book of Mormon is so important to her that she is doing everything she can to read it. I realized that I take my abilities to read for granted and if she can do it, I can put more effort in reading it everyday. We are teaching real people with real problems and they are so inspiring to me.

Yesterday we got to go to church and meet the members! They are the kindest people! At first I didn't hear the Wisconsin accent but you can definitely hear it in certain words like bag and the Holy Ghost. I love it!

I hope you all are doing well! I would love to hear from you and what you are up to! I miss and love you all!!
