Finally Free!

Hi everyone! 

 

 

It is so nice to be finally out of quarantine! Sadly it is really cold so we end up going right back inside but it is nice to have the option to go places.

 

 

There were a lot of really tender moments this week! 

 

 

First off Bertha!We asked where she was at in her reading and she was on the last page! We got to finish the Book of Mormon with her and it was so awesome! She gave us little cross necklaces and a little angel statue that says "Mother is another word for love". Not exactly sure why that made her think of us but it was so sweet! It is still really hard because she tells us she believes but her family won't support her. Her determination to continue learning is inspiring!

 

 

Another really sweet moment is Jim bringing us flowers and cookies because he appreciates what we do! Jim is a sweet old man who lives in the apartment complex next to us! We always say hi and talk to him when we go on walks because he is always sitting on his porch! He also told us that he watches Christmas hallmark movies which makes him even more adorable!

 

 

We finally got to have an in person lesson with someone we've been trying to get in contact with for a while! I don't remember if I told this story but he called us a couple weeks ago telling us that he got in a fist fight with someone bashing the church and us! We were proud of him for standing up for what he believed in but he probably could have handled it in a better way. It was a crazy story though! 

 

 

The primary program was yesterday and it was so adorable! It was so amazing to see all the children sing and talk about Christ! 

 

 

Today we got to go to Lambeau Field! It was so cool! It took us 7 weeks to go but we finally went!
