Tis The Season
Hello everyone!
It snowed!!!I will probably get sick of the snow at some point but right now it makes me so happy! I don't know why but I am like a little kid when I see snow!
It is definitely starting to feel like Christmas! Snow, Christmas music in the stores, people putting up decorations, and we've started working on Light the World! People can request a Christmas message from us so we've started preparing for it! I am so excited!
We have a new friend we are teaching! I messaged him telling him that I am a missionary and would love to share a message with him. Usually this resulted in a no but he said he would love to hear one! We ended up calling him while he was at work and shared the restoration! He said that he has friends who are members and actually went to their wedding and the San Diego Temple!! He seemed so ready for the gospel and I am excited to continue teaching him!
We also invited our friend Adam to pray about baptism! He has come to church for a few weeks now and even stayed for the second hour on Sunday! It has been incredible seeing him learn and progress!
I really wanted to wear one of my sweaters but it wasn't quite mission dress standards so I decided to sew the top of it to fix it. I didn't take into consideration that it had to fit over my head so it ended up getting stuck on my head(picture at the end of email) Being a great companion, Sister Skousen took a video of my struggle to get it over my head and I am grateful to have it to look back at. It did end up working though!
We went to the best bakery Uncle Mike's! There were soooo many pastries to pick from! We ended up getting their award winning Kringle and it was sooo good! I highly recommend it if you are ever in Green Bay!
Let me know if there is anything I can pray about for you or your family!
I love and miss you all!!
