Transfers And The Polar Express!

Hello Everyone!

I hope you have had an amazing week!

This was the craziest week!

I got out of training today and I learned yesterday that I will be training a new missionary! I am terrified but everything will end up working out. I am glad that I will be staying in Green Bay! I'll even get to see some of the people I came out to Wisconsin with that are coming to my zone! It is going to be really hard to say goodbye to Sister Skousen and the rest of the district!

This week we decided to call someone Sister Skousen talked to before I got here and it was awesome! Her name is Teka and she is the sweetest person ever! She has definitely had a hard life but has been able to find God in the last 6 months! She wants to know how to grow her faith in Jesus Christ so we went over and talked to her about the restoration and the Book of Mormon. At first she didn't want to take one but by the end of the lesson she really wanted one! She had the question of where did we come from and where will we go after we die and she was so happy to hear that we lived with our Heavenly Father before we came to earth and that we have the opportunity to return home to him! She is so ready to hear this gospel and there were so many miracles over the years to lead to that moment. It is not a coincidence that we got the prompting to call her and I can't wait to continue teaching her!

We were able to volunteer at the Polar express and it was so fun! We were in the kitchen filling up hot chocolate! They even let us ride it which was awesome!

We also did a paint night of the restoration for a Facebook live for our page! Sadly no one except Bob ended up coming in person but it ended up being a fun activity for our zone and our friend Bob!

Our neighbor Jim heard that some of us might be leaving and he really wanted to give us a hug but knew he couldn't because of mission rules so he put gloves on walking sticks and gave us a long distance hug! He is so precious!

The mission got new Hmong missionaries so we got Hmong elders back in our ward! Ying Moua was so happy!

I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving and I am so thankful to have all of you in my life! I love you and miss you all!
