Christmas Conference, Birthday, And Lots Of Caroling!
Hello everyone!
I hope you are doing well and are enjoying the Christmas season!
We started our week with our Christmas zone conference! Our mission president and his wife are so sweet! They said we are now part of the Murphy family so we did all of their Christmas traditions! We read the Nativity story, watched Charlie Brown Christmas, had piƱatas, and even got all of our families to send us a package so that we could all open them together! It was such a good conference!
It was also my birthday on Saturday and everyone made it so special! The day before I was sent flowers and the person delivering them wouldn't say who they were but kept ringing our door bell. We thought we were going to get murdered so we were pleasantly surprised when it was flowers! We also went to Macs for lunch which is a gourmet Mac and cheese place and it was so good! We met a family there who ended up singing silent night in German. Not quite sure what led us to that moment but I loved it! It was a day full of music! One of my favorite renditions of happy birthday was an elder who didn't seem to know how to play recorder but played it anyway. Very entertaining!
That night we decided to go caroling as a form of tracting and we found a couple people that were interested in hearing a message!
I am so thankful for this time that we celebrate the birth of our Savior! It has been such an amazing experience to be able to share messages about Christ's birth with others and to do Light the World as a missionary! I know that as we focus on our Savior during the Christmas season and all year round that we will find true joy and peace!
Let me know how your week went! I miss and love you all!
