Cookies, Crepes, Laser Tag, And Christmas!

Hello everyone! I hope you had a very merry Christmas!!

This week was sooo good!

Holidays are hard being away from home but the members here are so amazing! We had two meals on Christmas Eve and two on Christmas! One family does a Bethlehem dinner every year for Christmas eve and we got to have lamb and homemade Naan! On Christmas we got to join another family tradition by playing laser tag! It was so fun! I might have to invest in getting some of them when I get back! We also got to gather around the piano and sing Christmas hymns and it was so special! We sang a song where it had rounds and one of the elders was so confused about what was happening.

We got the opportunity to go to two different churches this week! One we thought it was just a small Bible study but then it ended up being a full service. It is so interesting going to different churches but we got to go with one of our friends and she showed us what she believed! Sadly she dropped us the next day and doesn't want to learn any more:(

The other church that we went to was an Episcopal church with Jim for their Christmas service! He is adorable! The whole time he was explaining what was happening and he was so happy to have us there! He told the priest that he invited us and he told Jim good luck getting us there and we showed up! He was a little surprised! Again it was different but it is awesome to see other people's beliefs!
