Lots Of Traveling This Week!

Hello everyone!! 

This was a crazy week full of meetings but it was so good!

We had MLC (mission leadership council) on Tuesday and it was so good! We talked about 12 principles of how to be a better leader and it was so helpful to see what I've been doing and what I could improve on! We also made a video for our new president and his wife about what our mission is like! It was so tender to hear everyone talk about who we are and what is important to us in the Wisconsin Milwaukee mission! I know that I was sent to this mission for a reason and I can't imagine being anywhere else right now! 

Ben prayed for the first time! Something other sisters have said in the past is that he has struggled to pray so we were so excited! We have set up calls every other morning to pray with him! 

We had CDC (combined district council) on Friday to share with our zone what we learned at MLC! We ended up doing our training by using the war chapters in the Book of Mormon! While preparing for it I was able to get so much more out of these chapters than I have ever been able to before! It's amazing how all of the Book of Mormon, even the war chapters can help us spiritually!

I went to Verona this week for exchanges with Sister Barrus! She also got trained by Sister Skousen! It was fun! We did some service, lots of calls and member work, and even tracked because we got tired of the internet not working haha.

We had our last interview with president Murphy yesterday! He is so inspired and I learn so much from him and Sister Murphy! While waiting for my interview I was sitting with Sister Murphy and the elders Quorum president from the Spanish branch came and asked her to put Hermanas in their branch. She said that they want to but they don't have enough Hermanas. He told her to put English sisters in there and then have them learn Spanish. She proceeded to turn around to me and gave me a look like you better start learning, luckily I am 99% sure she was joking!

We found someone on Facebook who lives in Africa! I was very skeptical at first but it turns out he actually wants to learn! We sent him the link to the Book of Mormon and he is excited to read it!
