Good Times

We met some really cool people this week!

 

 

We got a text from the Paddock lake elders to text a guy named Joseph. We did and he was so cool! He is a truck driver but is really looking for God more in his life and is looking to make those changes that he needs to! And he is in our area!! 

 

 

Another person that we were able to meet on facebook that lives in Madison called because he wanted to learn more about the Book of Mormon! We talked this week in district council about using the Book of Mormon to find people to teach and it totally worked! 

 

 

We finally got to meet our friend Angelina today who other sisters passed off to us and she is the sweetest! She called us right after and said that because we met God gave her an opportunity to help someone else and it was so cool! 

 

 

Something I learned this week was that you never know what someone is going through. We met with a member family last week and gave them a lesson and everything seemed great with them. She texted us a couple days after and let us know some of the things going on in their family and how they needed that message. Everything seemed totally fine but I'm learning a lot of the time things aren't and that we need to do everything we can to be kind and loving to everyone!

 

 

We've been really trying to talk to everyone and so we thought we could try to do a post where we would ask people how they think God has blessed them and it was amazing! We met this one guy who looked really sad when we walked up but he said that he is blessed with little pockets of happiness in the chaos of life. He said he didn't quite believe in Gof but that there is something out there. We are going to try to call him later this week.

 

 

I honestly love being a missionary!
