The Leaves Are Changing

Hello everyone!! 

This week has gone by so fast! I honestly don't know where the time is going!! The leaves are starting to change colors and it is making me so happy! 

This week we got to work a lot with the youth in our ward! We were in charge of leading the lesson for young women and then we taught early morning seminary! 

We also had transfers! Our new companion is Sister Sutherland! She is so fun! It's been a lot of fun being in a trio! We had a lot of training meetings and planning this week which was okay because we have no miles. We've been walking around our apartment and are searching for another bike to use. Luckily we have amazing members who are so willing to let us borrow another bike for a little bit!

One of our friends, Holly, fed us dinner! It was so sweet! We taught her the plan of salvation and Sister Sutherland said that her face lit up when we taught her! She also said she might be interested in being baptized! 

Our friend junior who is the son of one of our members is moving! We are so sad but we are so happy for them! The missionaries in Kenosha will be amazing for him!

I keep having to chase people down in parking lots haha. I get the prompting to talk to them and share a message with them but then they are too far to talk to and then I get the prompting to run after them so I do it! Still nothing has come out of it but their faces are priceless after they realize I am running after them and I give them a card or our number so hopefully those are seeds planted!! 

I was able to finish the Book of Mormon again on my mission and I am so thankful to have it in my life and to be able to share it with everyone! It brings me so much peace and guidance and God is able to answer so many of my prayers and questions through it! 

Speaking of prayers being answered I am also so excited for General Conference this weekend!! Something that we ask all our members before conference is to think of questions they want answered and to go into conference prepared to receive the answers! That is something that I love to do before general conference!
