Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello everyone!!

I hope you have had an amazing Thanksgiving!!

I'm sorry I haven't written in a few weeks but it has been crazy and has been full of miracles!! I'm going to attempt to write what has happened over the last three weeks but I don't have the best memory so we will see how this goes! Sorry if it is long!

We had exchanges with the Green Bay Sisters and I got to be with Sister Conley again! It is so fun to do exchanges with past companions! We gave someone a Book of Mormon that night by knocking on their car window! Sadly their car got towed the next morning but we were able to get their car out in time for them to get back!

We then had exchanges with the Milwaukee Hermanas the next week and I got to be with Hermana Schei! My testimony grew this night that the Lord will provide! We had lots of member lessons that night which was so good but I was a little worried we would have time to find people to teach. It was around 8:40 and while we were in a lesson we got 2 calls from an unknown number! We called him back and it turns out he was trying to call his friend but accidentally typed in the number wrong and called us! We ended up sharing the restoration and he loved it and wanted to learn more and come to church!! He is Sadly not in our area but we are so excited for him to continue to learn!

We had dinner at a members who had a drum set in their living room so I got to try it again after not playing for about 9 years haha. I wasn't very good but it was fun!

We then had zone conference with Elder Wong who is over our mission and we learned a lot from it! Some of my takeaways are to teach people not lessons, have urgency in everything, don't do something for nothing, and that we need to be talking about baptism more! I'm excited to take what I learned and apply it!

We had exchanges with the Elkhorn Hermanas this week and it was so fun! I was with Hermana Dardon and Hermana Madsen. We got to visit lots of people, gave a guy with a really big scary dog a Book of Mormon, and ran after a lady who spoke spanish! They even taught me how to say our purpose in spanish!

On our way back I got a prompting that we were in the area of one of our members and that we should go visit her! We went and she was there! We haven't been able to get in contact with her for a couple months! She was so sweet and we are going back to visit her this week!

We found out on Wednesday that Elder Wong also didn't want as many trios so Sister Sutherland was transferred to Elkhorn. We miss her but we were able to have a good Thanksgiving before she left!

We went to two dinners back to back which was so fun but a lot of food! We first went to Sister Lukens where they served food at her senior living place! Sue loves introducing us to all her friends. It was so adorable! We then went to the Engels who are so fun!!

We had a sisters conference on Saturday and it was so fun to have all the Sisters in the mission in one place! The theme of it was gratitude and I was able to learn so much about gratitude! We were in charge of one of the breakout rooms about being grateful for our body. I was happy with how it ended up turning out!

If no one else has told you this today, God loves you and is so proud of you!!
