Quarantine Part 2

Hello everyone!!

Sister Miner started not feeling good and tested positive for Covid on Wednesday but besides that it's been a good week! 

Last week Sister Skousen and Sister Rigby found out one of their friends who is working towards baptism lives in our area so they came to church and it was so good! There were a lot of members who helped her feel welcome! She might get baptized this week or next! She is so sweet and is so faithful!

We also had a relief society activity where we watched one of the Book of Mormon videos, had hot chocolate, and decorated Christmas cookies! It was so much fun! I love all the Sisters in our ward! We watched the video about when Jesus Christ visited the Americas and healed the sick. The Spirit was so strong and I was grateful to be able to represent my savior and testify of him! While watching that video I felt so much love from and for Jesus Christ! It reminded me that he loves and knows each of us individually!

One night we were feeling better and we were trying to call people to teach and the first person we called answered and wanted to hear a message!! We started teaching the restoration and he loved it! He said it wasn't a coincidence because he had been thinking about starting his own church but really liked what we taught! Sister Miner was such a trooper during this because she looked a little like she was going to die while on the call

We also found a guy named Nick who wants to be baptized but has been scared to come to church. We were going to give him a church tour with a member but then covid happened. He told us he still wanted to go to church so we texted a couple members to meet him and it went so well! He loved it and said he even got a little teary eyed during some people's testimonies! I am so thankful for our members!!
